Faculty of flying machine radio systems

The faculty was created in 1959. The training of the specialists on the whole complex of specialties for aerospace branch began at kharkiv Aviation Institute at the moment of its appearance. The design of radio electronic devices, onboard computer systems, remote probing from aerospace carriers, systems of telecommunications are the main directions of training and scientific research work at the faculty. The work on biomedical systems and technologies creation has begun in recent years.

The faculty integrates 5 departments: physics department, airspace electronic systems department, department of flying machines radio electronic systems manufacturing, department of flying machines computer systems , department of signal reception, transmission and processing.

The training of the graduates is carried out on the following specialties:

Manufacture of electronic devices;
Radio-electronic devices, systems and complexes;
Technologies and means of telecommunication;
Specialized computer systems;
Biotechnical and medical devices and systems.

Within the framework of international co-operation programs the research laboratories of the faculty carry out the research works in the field of medical diagnostic complexes designing and space researches. The co-operation agreements with the universities of Finland, USA and Mexico have already been concluded
