Control systems faculty

The training of the students in the field of flying machines control systems has begun in kharkiv Aviation Institute in 1959. In 1977 in connection with an increasing number of the specialists, trained in this field, the above-mentioned faculty was opened. The specialists of information processing systems and manufacture management, banking and insurance activity have been trained at the faculty since 1990.

There are 5 departments attached to the faculty at the present time: Department of flying machines control systems, Information systems department, Department of flying machines devices, Metrology department, Information science department.

The training is carried out on the following specialties:

Flying machines and complexes control systems;
Information control systems and technologies;
Information measuring systems;
Metrology and measuring technology;
Applied mathematics.

Not only flying machines control and onboard computer systems, but also research works, manufacture and technological processes computerization , organizational control, diagnostic medical systems, design and creation of non-conventional means of measuring and testing, carrying out tests as well as certification of manufacturing processes and products are the subjects of study at the faculty.
